Rita added another notch to her credit by finding the Hai Ky Vietnamese Cafe at 1931 Oltorf, east of I35 in a little strip mall and easy to miss.

But don’t miss it! The ambiance is a bit plain even though there’s some interesting art hanging on the walls, but you’re there for the food, right?

An ethnic menu features 16 different types of soups made with different broths and spice combinations. I also had a non-Vietnamese dish of chicken which was superb. Add to this the ingredient of good service and pleasing prices and you have a new place to go for lunch.

Satisfaction highly likely.
