The Turkey was prepared in an Electrolux – Convection oven using the probe for the perfect turkey — Cooking time was 2.5 hrs. for a 21 lb. turkey.

 

Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving Dinner at Jack’s place. Photos are of the remains; sorry about that, but we were hungry. A crown roast of lamb, turnip casserole, squash, and other stuff followed by pumpkin cheese cake to die for and some plain bread pudding. Let’s don’t forget the champagne for breakfast, the egg casserole made from fresh laid eggs and the oyster dressing! In the end, Texas Aggies couldn’t quite overcome the Texas Longhorns in College Station, but maybe next year…A grand time had by the four of us.
